Opting for English medium, the term of the course will be six years. Although students are not required to undergo one year of preparatory course, all students will be taught the Russian language during the first three years of education along with other subjects. This is a mandatory rule as knowledge of Russian language is a prerequisite for clinical interactions and practical hospital training.
Opting for Russian medium, the duration of the course will be seven years. The first year will be mandatory ‘Preparatory faculty’ where all students will study the Russian language extensively before proceeding with the rest of the course.
Eligibility criteria for studying medicine in Russia
